My fren wanted a spanking new image so i decided to go to her hairdresser to act as an 'image consultant' and also partly to give her moral support and also partly to trim my hair as it is getting rather messy.
I was trying to persuade her to go all out and dye her hair a bright red (like Ronald Macdonald) while my other fren wanted her to go with purple. She was leaning towards the red cos i promised to accept her into my home if she got kicked out of her own home by her dad. Then at the last minute she chickened out and got red highlights instead.
THEN it was my turn to cut my hair and to my absolute horror, i ended up looking quite like the last time i cut my hair at that hairdresser (you guessed it, it was my infamous golden hairdo). The last time, i only had midneck length hair so i was really quite expecting tat length (juz didn't expect e boyish, super funky cut) but this time, i specifically told him NOT to cut short AT ALL but to juz give it a trim and make it thinner. He said, "ok but will end up cutting a bit", holding up his thumb and index finger with, i vividly remember, 1cm of space between them.
SO HOW did it end up SOOOO short i also dunno.. I juz remember watching with mounting horror and kept repeating to myself that mayb it's not so bad.. And i din really dare to interrupt the master at work.
My head feels very light now.
Sob sob sob! All my lovely locks gone! Just like that!
P.S I wrote this under the influence of 2 glasses of quite strong white wine (i'll blog more abt this later), coupled with the sense of loss and dejection i suffered at 10pm just now (i wrote this entry on the 22nd), i think i can be forgiven for being so emotional

Btw i went to this pretty restaurant that has a decor that is very, very me. so colourful and bright and cheery and cute pics (pics that are like that super girly pencilbox i used to bring.. you get the idea) on the walls. Tot it's quite a nice place to hang out and there's wireless access. And their set meals are not too bad and very worth it at $8.80. It's at bugis area, Purvis street.
