Best-est lor

So i found out at 5.03pm today that I'm doing my surg sip at ttsh instead...
Apparently, they decided that there aren't enough HOs to take us so they transfered the first half of our cg there (split our cg some more!).

Wk is mighty pissed.. me, i'm not so pissed because i'm just relieved because it is hideously inconvenient for me to go there in the morning.
I have to walk 10min to my mrt station, take the train to Buona and then because the stupid 95 only starts after 7am, and even the earliest staff bus starts at 7.15am, i have to WALK a freaking 25minutes from the train station to the wards.
So you can say that i breathed more than a sigh of relief at the news, although I'm dreading the fact that we prob have to work thrice as hard there.

I just find it freaking ridiculous that they have to tell us this on the last day of the posting AFTER office hours some more lor, I mean, they have more than 6mths to slowly mull over that piece of news, if i can, in this space of time, repeatedly try to persuade Wk, to no avail, to give me a lift there, check up street directory and ask pple on the various means of getting there, compare the various routes and finally decide on the fastest one, they jolly well can work out this minor detail way ahead of time, and save us all alot of unnecessary distress. It all just goes to show that they only think of us lowly medical students only in the last minute, as an after thought kinda way.

I imagine it to be something like this:
Friday, 26 Oct,
1pm X: mmm that was a nice long lunch.
3pm Y: yay... 2 more hours to the weekend.... oh btw, what's happening on mon? Oh ya, we have a new batch of sip students coming in... i guess, we should be doing their schedule soon, yeah? Oh well. mmmm that really was a nice lunch wasn't it..
4.30pm Y: yay going home soon liao. btw, we better settle this sip thingy soon if we wanna go home at 5
5pm X: eh... how many students we have ah? Like not enuf ho leh.
Y: oh.. hmm.. well... aiya just get rid of these 4 students here.
X: Ok but how to tell them? I want to go home.
Y: I'll just email them lar. After all, I already send them an email to their official email account telling them to check their official email account for impt updates, so i think they will check right.
X: Ok but i think better call one of them also right? Ya better. Although the last time i called one of them to tell them the geri briefing time, I gave them the WRONG TIME, and caused them to BE 30MIN LATE FOR THE COMBINED BRIEFING AND MADE PROF KUMAR ANGRY......

Haiyah.. our you-know-what hospital's you-know-who's office is damn screwed up lar.
I'm glad i'm going ttsh.
