I love paeds elective!!!!!!!
Finally, i go to school each day actually thinking, "hey! this is fun!" instead of, "God please! I just want to survive this day."
Utopia is a society without end-of-posting tests, ward assessments, compulsory ward rounds (to show face) and case write-ups.
We go around clerking and smiling at the shy kids and playing with the lonely kids. We do silly antics to cheer up the crying kids, well, not actually cheer them up but with so many of us shaking a variety of noisy toys, they get so confused they forget to cry. And in between all that clerking and playing, we would just gather around the nursing counter and chat happily without the usual frantic asking of "got any good cases for tut?!!"
Come lunch time, we would either adjourn to the lockers to *cough* go home, or we would gather everyone for a nice lunch somewhere NOT in kopitiam. We had to-die-for murtabak today at Arab Street, MUST bring u guys there next time...
And i'd never thought i'd say this, but even the tutorials are so enjoyable, even though with only 4 pple in a group, the 'cycle' is quite scary.
Sigh.. Life (without rules) is good....
