Uncle, you got 'lao jio' (leaked urine) boh?

haha damn shiok... i'm slacking at home now when i'm supposed to be knocking on doors asking old folks that question. Hee hee.. my partner and i decided that a response rate of 16 is already pretty damn good so we gave ourselves a break which is why i'm lazing at home on this rainy day (perfect for slacking) blogging abt slacking and trying to master the female part of shan hu hai.

In case anyone in my CHP reads my blog, i've been working pretty hard k. I stayed till 9.30pm last night knocking and knocking on doors which refused to open even though the occupants are blatantly at home. I think even the neighbours took pity on us, there's this uncle who always rushed out of his house to help us knock on the door whenever we're at his floor. But our persistence paid off and the moment the doors open, muahahaha, i just worked my innate charms on them, refusing to budge and kept talking non-stop until they grudgingly agreed. Even Vincent thought i was good and happily left all the persuading to me. I'm hopeless at the questionaire part though, somehow looking at the English version i just can't get my mind to translate it to simple chinese, and the chinese version of the questionaire is too cheem for me to read. (Is date of birth='chu shen ri qi'?? i think those old folks must be giggling behind my backs.) Anyway, we managed to convert most of our non-contactables to responders and are only left with the vacant households and one Bangladesh worker who will only be home before 5.30am and after midnight. Don't look at me like that, i really really want to interview him but i simply couldn't bring myself to wake up the poor inhabitants of that unit at those ungodly hours.

Next week would be super jia lat week for me as my team would be stuck in front of the com doing data entry and data analysis. Maybe i can enlist the help of a certain accountant/statistician wannabe shuai ge to help us???
