Ode to friends

(I'm writing this after SPSS because the comp here is so fast!! Also, SPSS is so clever, i think i'm in love.... (tat was sarcasm, wk, dun pust all the wrok to me hor))

I spent the lovely but too short holiday meeting up with all my long lost friends and i just find it amazing that we can still have so much fun tog. These people held an important place in my heart in one time or another, so here's a tribute to all of them:

Sec sch friends: These girls were with me during the carefree days of cheap canteen food and super strict school rules, they coloured my face with make up for the first time in my life, we were there for each other when our dear friend left us, we spent the night before jc eating and singing and talking abt boys and when finally we parted ways, we still managed to have many heart-to-heart talks when we meet up (usu when one of us landed up in hospital or when smth bad happens). And i just find it rather poignant that the girls i played Lego and cooked with, now bring me clubbing. These girls possibly know me the best and they would probably be with me in every stage of my life, harrassing my future husband and playing mahjong with me when we become old aunties.

JC friends: My crazier, sillier, noisier, blurrer and hua-chi-er half who supported me thru each and every one of my crushes, my first row gang (yes i sat in the first row in class) who thought me so much and were so patient with me when i hounded them with questions, my mug-in-the-lib-till-9pm pals who later became my Taiwan travelmates, singing buddies, shopping kakis and ever ready to buffet gang and my guitar buddies. It's really quite sad that we don;t really have time for each other now.

Robot zoo and now bridgy gang: hahaha nothing much to say here except for M.A.D. i think it's really amazing how such a strong friendship can be forged through work and bridge and i really love these zany girls even though they bring out a side of me i'm trying to ignore

Medicine girls plus Gh: You guys accepted me during my golden hair days, brightened up so many of the dreary lecture days, laughed hysterically with me during two hour lunches, made Europe even more special for me and ............

My new year's resolution is to spend more time and be nicer to my friends. Hope we would never lose our special friendship....

(ok rushing off to Priya's debate now... Priya, you can do it!!!!!!!)
