I remember when ages ago i was still young and energetic i used to sing this song all the time to bug the hell out of Catechol, but he still refuse to budge and bring me to the zoo. ("Now go for wat?! Next time got kids liao then go mah, if not wasted!"
Now that i'm all old and too lethargic to drag my creaking joints out into the sun, i finally got my long time wish fulfilled.
I have to thank my dear gal and her guy who had complimentary passes to the zoo, which means that anytime that suit their fancy they (plus 2 others) can go to the zoo! (Can you believe it?! I used to volunteer at the zoo and even I din get free tix lor)
Me is happy!
The white tiger looks rather cagey though, it kept pacing that narrow ledge repeatedly while i watch on uneasily (of cos when we mention to our other friends the night before that we were going to the zoo, someone invariably just have to mention that white tiger incident -_-")
I love otters!
I was very amused that some of the animals have been adopted by local companies that's related to animals, like the lions by SPC, Jaguars by Jaguar (duh) and this giraffe is Growie, adopted by that milk powder company that goes "Grow! Grow! Grow!" in their advertisement.
We thought the baboons' butts look like cancerous growths

Catechol was very very excited abt lions, they are his fav animal (for all the wrong reasons) but the lone lion in the zoo just look sad and frumpy. Kinda reminded me of the wounded lion statue in Switzerland.
We love horsies!
I had fun, I really really did! And it was cool double-dating with my dear gal.
