Day of Lasts

hahahahahaha......... I'm very amused!! You all check so many times for wat?! And i will be very embarrassed if u're going to put my blog as ur homepage, zh...


Anyway.. as i predicted, I'm blogging again!! Whoa! IF i got as much inspiration to write essays/smoke clinicals for MBBS as my inspiration to blog now, then I got nothing to fear liao! Really can slack now hahahahahaha......
Today, the bad news we all are discussing today is the fact that the med vivas list will be out the next day after the exams, dunno abt you confident guys, but I confirm wun be able to sleep one lor... Think maybe i may blog thru the night.. haha.. but then again, dunno if by then i still have the inspiration to blog or not.. hmmmm...

Today is our last day in nus, and thus also marked a number of lasts for me, so i decided to blog abt it so tat i can reflect back on this day with fondness (gasp, i just realised that last fri was the last day of the cg!! but somehow, didn't really feel much abt it. All i could think of was: "hurry up rush to the wards! it's the last day before we're barred!")

Last day in NUS:

LAst 95 trip: hmm this was quite some time back cos today i got a lift. Heng got lift if not surely late, afterall for the last 95% of the time i was on 95, I was late lor.
In Year 1 & 2, i used to always take the bus that make me reach 5-10min (depending on jam conditions) after the lecture starts. I call this the "just nice will be late" bus. And it's always the same few pple on this bus haha. My esteemed bus mate used to tell me, "I time my arrival to just nice reach at the third slide cos the first two slides are introduction." Sometimes, I will be lucky enuf to squeeze on to the "reach just on time as the lecturer dim the lights" bus, that accounts for the remaining 4% of my journeys to sch.
In fact last time, I used to give SOME PEOPLE (points at gh and zh) scares all the time. When they see me walking to the 95 bus stop at buona, waving and smiling at them, they would always give me the same reaction: 1) shocked/terrified face ; followed by 2) immediately check the time on their watch; 3) say "die liao lar! See you means will be late". It's quite funny, sometimes got two of them tog, then they would both do exactly the same thing. [That was a test day, so i'm early.]

LAst test in nus: used the 4B pencil I bought before the very first test in 5 years ago in co-op. I remember I ran into my jc fren there and she asked me why me and apparently a whole lot of other medicine peeps are buying 4B pencils, and i said, "tmrw got test! must use 4B pencils one. And it's true/false negative marking! Gotta go bye!" And I scuttled off to mug.
I think I only sharpened that pencil twice in the course of 5years.

Last mugging session in betw lessons in lib: Science lib is just not the same. There was an old auntie sitting next to our table, and a little girl running around. Like ???!!!!! I miss the medicine lib where I can sit at my favourite table and gaze out the window to gauge when is an opportune time to leave haha (only fellow patrons of shuttle bus know wat i'm talking abt)

Last meal in science canteen: Ate what I eat all the time (other than the miserable months leading up to the Europe trip when my budget was $1 per meal) which is Indian food. Was contemplating if i should eat Bambino's, cos I did say that the second and last time I would eat there is on the last day of sch (so fast, the day has come) to give them another chance. But Indian had my fav fried egg AND my fav fav brinjal, so too tempted liao ha.

LAst time in LT28: managed to get 'our row'. We just needed zj in front of the projector and gh in front of us to complete the picture haha

Last lecture: just highlighted to us what we already know 5years ago : the efficiency and eptitude of our dear DO.


So dearly wish I can type in last day of mugging here too....
Oh well, on the day I can finally say that, I will come back here and edit this entry again.
So watch this space in.. say, oh another 40-50 years ya...
