P: we're celebrating our fren's bdae today.
W1: which one of u?
P *indicates Zh*
W1 *gave Zh appraising look then turns back to P*: ookkaay... so you want the *flexes elbow joint to simulate a lifting action*
P *nods sagely and pointed at waiter in a business-like manner*: yes that
Me, Zh, Sm, Wk *utterly confused looks on our faces*
Me *nudges P*: wat's *lifting action*???
P: i dunno.
Zh *sweat-drop*
Me *imagines 2 beefy waiters hoisting Zh up onto their shoulders while singing 'Happy Birthday'*
Everybody *took out our cameras*
After 3 hours....
Conversation with waitress 2
P: we're celebrating our fren's bdae and we're wondering if you have anything planned.
W2: oh which one of you?
P *indicates Zh*
W2 *gave Zh a strange look*: hmmmmmmmmm okaaaayy...
Everyone (except Zh) *waits in gleeful anticipation*
Zh *waits in fear*
Three waitresses came out bearing a huge bowl of ice-cream.
Me: oh that's nice of them
W2: shall we make her stand on the chair??
Everybody else except Zh: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY
The waitress stuffed a lighted Sparkle into Zh's hands when she's on the chair and the three of them burst into song while we took photos like crazy. As soon as they finished singing, the waitresses left abruptly.
Me: heehee that was fun.
Wk: for free ice-cream, i would gladly do that AND fake my birthday
on the chair:
